is offering a new kind of package in which you can win a free vacation.
The only catch is that you have to make a baby first. The Marco Island Marriott Beach Resort
is offering couples who want to start a family quite a fertility deal.
It's called the "Fertile Turtle" package. "The sea turtle is a very fertile animal
so that was a perfect combination for the tie-in with our package,"
said Amanda Morris with the Marco Island Marriott. "It's an
attention-grabbing package." To keep with the turtle theme, the package is offered from May 1st through October 31st - sea turtle nesting season. "We had an idea to create a vacation that would help couples looking to fertilize an egg of their own," said Morris. Morris explained the Fertile Turtle
package comes with a daily cup of red clover and raspberry tea, which
contains a pregnancy-inducing herb for women. Each couple will also be treated to a massage with Chaste Berry aromatherapy, which is a natural fertility enhancer. Plus, you will get a view of the Gulf and lots of privacy. Morris says part of your $400 a night stay will go towards protecting the threatened loggerhead sea turtle species. "We donate a portion of every package
sold to the Conservancy of Southwest Florida. They have a wonderful sea
turtle protection plan that we contribute to. And there's another catch, the Marriott will reward couples who actually conceive during their stay. "Couples that have a child born and have
a birth certificate within eight to 10 months of their hotel stay
receive a free return vacation on us, along with the newest addition of
the family," said Morris. "It's a minimum three night stay, but we'd love for them to stay as long as they want." This is the second year the Marco Island Marriott is offering the Fertile Turtle package.
