SANDPOINT, Idaho - A northern Idaho man who failed a breath test during a court hearing had his bail increased from $10,000 to $100,000.
First District Judge Justin Julian didn't believe Anthony Wayne Johnson's explanation last week that the breath test found he had a blood alcohol content of 0.27 because he had used Listerine before coming to court.
Julian increased the bail and reset Johnson' preliminary hearing for June 11.
Johnson, 39, is accused of discharging a firearm in a home near the Pend Oreille River west of Seneacquoteen on May 18. No one was injured.
