Sadly, she is not a good ventriloquist. She laughs at her own jokes too much, she doesn't articulate when speaking as Monk, and it's only somewhat funny. Not to mention, self-depreciating humor is a bad cliche in ventriloquism.

My Mom's been a ventriloquist for over 30 years, and she had funnier stuff even before she became professional - in other words, when she just did it for her friends and family. Without the swearing, at that.

That being said, though, I've seen worse. The ventriloquist in the video isn't bad - but she isn't good, either.
